Construction Safety

Construction safety involves development and implementation of processes, systems, technologies and frameworks to manage risk and reduce the chance of safety incidents and hazards during construction activities. This involves not only construction of real estate civil engineering and infrastructure projects, but also includes heavy engineering projects like ships, oil and gas platforms etc. These are some of the most unsafe and hazardous industries, which cause fatalities of workers as well as the destruction of assets and infrastructure. Hence construction safety is important to develop regulations, rules and mechanisms to minimise risks during construction, identify and contain potential hazard sources and initiating mechanisms to protect workers, assets and environment.
